December is the month to be together with friends and family. With flowers, you can create a warm winter home where everyone feels welcome. And it starts in the hall. Flowers everywhere!
Countdown to Christmas
From subtle Christmas lights to a festively decorated Christmas house. How nice it is to decorate your home more and more towards Christmas. Flowers add a natural touch to your Christmas decorations. Combine Christmas baubles, for example, with flowers in sparkling colours: white, soft yellow or pink. Flowers in warm shades such as burgundy or orange-brown are also beautiful, for example in combination with Christmas greens. And lights, of course.
Tip! wrap Christmas presents with pretty paper, a name card and a mini bouquet of one flower with a sprig of Christmas greenery.
Table showpiece
From pretty table linen to luxurious candles. The dining table deserves extra attention during the festive season. The finishing touch? That can only be done with flowers! Think of one sumptuous floral arrangement as a showpiece. Or small vases with flowers that you spread across the table. Keep your creation low so you can still look each other in the eye.
Tip! Place loose flowers around the plates just before Christmas dinner (or lunch). Add some pine branches. To the table!
Party time
And before you know it, it is New Year’s Eve. Even then you can go wild with flowers in your home. For instance, use a disco ball (Christmas decoration) and fine Christmas lights in a bowl with colourful flowers. Use these flowers in a bouquet or a collection of individual vases with flowers that you place everywhere. Even in the hallway. Your guests will immediately feel welcome!
Tip! Celebrate the new year with a bouquet or a flowering plant in white – as a symbol of a new start. Also fun to take to a New Year’s Eve party as a gift. Happy new year!
