You are part of a team of 5 cultivation/crop specialists, which means that you support and replace each other where necessary. You report to the location manager. The location is Rijsenhout, which is along the A4, close to Schiphol Airport. This is a full-time position.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for optimal cultivation of various crops in such a way that the plants are available to our customers on time, in sufficient quantities and in the intended quality. You make space, work and cultivation planning. You coordinate the activities regarding the cultivation, climate and crop protection strategy; you also participate in the execution.
You are a member of the breakdown service team and once every 5 weeks you are responsible for following up the breakdown reports; on Saturdays and Sundays during this week you perform crop care tasks (approx. 2 hours per day).

- You have a drive to improve yourself and the different crops
- You can work independently, but also work well in a team
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- HBO working and thinking level, obtained through education or experience
- a broad experience in the practical implementation of crops
- a hands-on mentality
- have knowledge of climate control systems, fertilization systems and horticultural technology
- possess a crop protection license or be prepared to obtain one
- good working knowledge of software applications
- good command of both the Dutch and English languages
