Van Zanten Breeding is looking for a MARKETING MANAGER
An energetic marketer with commercial clout!
Your responsibilities
In this position, you formulate our marketing strategy and are responsible for translating this into various activities. Think of trade fairs, market introductions and events. In addition, you will be working daily on the positioning of our products. Furthermore, you actively build a network of growers, exporters and their customers (retailers and e-tailers) within the cut flower segment. You market our assortment and develop new concepts. You know how to determine needs and identify trends within Retail and Wholesale. This makes you a full strategic discussion partner for growers, retail and sales management.
You lead a compact professional and driven team, in which you also participate. You are co- responsible for the guidance and development of your team members. In this position you report directly to the Commercial Director.
The location is Rijsenhout, which is along the A4, close to Schiphol Airport. This is a full-time position.
You are unique
We are looking for a colleague who shares our passion for flowers and plants.
You are analytical, have strategic insight and have feeling with the cut flower product.
Furthermore, you are skilled in communicating with parties in the sales chain, you have knowledge of the floriculture market and insight into trade flows.
You are a natural leader with an eye for development and growth.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
– you have an HBO level of education with a solid basis in the field of marketing
– you have at least 5 years of work experience in a commercial function and/or setting
– you have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
– you recognize yourself in: entrepreneurship, drive and result orientation
