Breeding Accel is once again attending IPM ESSEN, the foremost international trade fair for ornamental horticulture. The highly acclaimed breeders KP Holland, Interplant Roses, Schoneveld Breeding, Labeau and Royal Van Zanten will be presenting their innovations and product ranges jointly on stand D215.
One-stop-shop for genetics
After a successful joint trade fair presence last year, the collective is continuing its collaboration. Peter van de Pol, spokesperson for Breeding Accel, emphasises: “Sharing a stand enhances our commercial strength and makes it easier for our supply chain partners to discover the latest insights in genetics. We offer a true one-stop-shop for innovations in breeding.”
The breeders’ highlights
The participating breeders are demonstrating their commitment to continued innovation:
- Created from the merger of Sion Young Plants and Microflor, Labeau is proud to present its extensive Phalaenopsis range known for its stand-out quality and innovative varieties.

Stronger together in breeding
Breeding Accel, which, besides the five ornamental plant companies, also includes Fresh Forward (specialising in apple and strawberry breeding), highlights how collaboration accelerates the breeding cycle and improves quality. “By sharing knowledge in areas such as tissue culture, HR, propagation and sales, we are making significant advances,” says Van de Pol. “This enables us to supply our customers with stronger and more vigorous starting material for a successful crop.”
IPM Essen will be held at the Messe Essen exhibition centre (Essen, Germany) on 28-31 January 2025. Don’t miss Breeding Accel’s stand (2D15)!
