Last Friday, the Hillenraad100 was announced, and we are proud to share that Royal Van Zanten has secured the 67th spot this year. With a jump of almost 20 places compared to two years ago (position 84), we are happy with this recognition and the kind words in the Hillenraad Magazine. We thank Hillenraad for the beautiful publication and the fantastic evening!

“Royal Van Zanten is – as they put it – ‘back on track.’ The key to renewed success lies in solid collaborations with partners who excel in complementary areas or contribute to more stable and consistent business processes. The international breeding company has strengthened its market position in the most important horticulture countries, with notable growth in Colombia and South America. With a thousand intellectual property protections and patents for a core base of around a thousand customers, this 162-year-old company is once again making a significant impact on the global stage.
Sustainability is a top priority. In its annual ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) report, Royal Van Zanten outlines goals in the area of sustainability, as well as the related actions and collaborative initiatives. One notable example is the ‘Seaproof’ label, a breeding qualification indicating that chrysanthemums are suitable for sea transport rather than air freight. This valuable initiative contributes to more sustainable transportation and has a positive effect throughout the floriculture chain. We look forward to seeing more great initiatives like this! Royal Van Zanten is back in royal form.”
